Irving Farm Coffee Roasters was founded in 1996 when David Elwell and Steve Leven opened a much-needed neighborhood café in Gramercy Park, hoping to provide a space where people could gather and drink great coffee. At a time before “handcrafted,” “organic,” and “fair-trade” had yet to enter the coffee drinker’s lexicon, the two trailblazing college friends distinguished their Gramercy shop from other java huts in New York by stocking it with specialty blends and single-origins. Shortly thereafter, they decided to convert a carriage house in bucolic Dutchess County into a roastery.

 

Hudson Valley Fresh is a dairy farmer cooperative dedicated to preserving the agricultural heritage of the Hudson River Valley, promoting it as one of the premier food regions of the United States and producing premium quality dairy products.

 

 

Tierra Farm is a certified-organic manufacturer and distributor of nuts and dried fruits, located 20 miles south of Albany, New York. Customers consist mainly of cooperatives and independently owned grocery stores which value working with an employee-owned, environmentally conscious company that manufactures its own products.  Tierra Farm is providing PieconicNY with pecans, dates, coconut and walnuts.

 

Love Apple Farm features a farm market with locally grown vegetables, meats, cheeses and poultry, an Authentic Mexican café, and a bakery with homemade pies and cider donuts made on site. And a long tradition of picking tree-ripened fruit lives on. Daily, families, travelers, and friends visit the farm to take a bucket or basket and head up into the vast Love Apple Farm orchard to pick incredible fruit and berries from the trees and bushes.

 

Feather Ridge Farm is nestled atop the beautiful hills of southern Columbia County, New York.

Four generations of the family have worked the land since 1938.   The secret to providing  the finest quality eggs is raising baby chicks on homemade all natural feed made from local grains. Eggs are hand-gathered from nests, washed, and USDA inspected.
